Although predominantly neutral with all the classics, this UES round-up features a few pops of color, a mix of affordable and luxury items, and one standout piece that, while not technically a handbag, could easily inspire a new, unique design. I noticed a Farrow & Ball paint can near Ralph’s Coffee on Madison that caught my eye with its deep red color and thin black handle. By slimming down its dimensions and removing the product descriptions on the back, it could easily transform into the cutest novelty holiday bag I’ve ever seen.
The Bottega Padded Cassettes, a standout from brands like Gucci and Coach, as well as faux alligator and subtle Hermès bags, were also spotted on the streets of the UES as holiday shopping season kicked into full swing. Additionally, there were sightings of some Chanel, Little Back Bags, and a touch of Givenchy.
