January has arrived, signaling the end of the holidays and a return to the usual hustle and bustle of New York City streets. Greenwich Village has become a personal favorite spot of mine for people-watching, consistently adding a fresh and unique vibe to the Bags in the Wild scene. From timeless Loewe bags to stylish totes made from repurposed denim, there is no shortage of surprises around Washington Square Park.
Venturing into SoHo, I spotted numerous holiday shoppers flaunting everything from Zadig & Voltaire to the newest releases from Coach. And for those seeking inspiration for cold-weather outfits, both parts of town delivered in abundance. Some of the stand-out pieces I came across included a fresh set of Celine, Goyard, and Hermès, as well as the Celine Triomphe Bucket, Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis, and Balenciaga Micro Messenger.
There were also plenty of other eye-catching options to consider, from the LOEWE Puzzle Bag and Chanel Wallet on Chain to the Balenciaga Messenger and GOYARD ROUETTE PM. For those with a taste for something a little different, similar favorites from Dior, Gucci, and COACH were also prominently displayed. And let’s not forget the Moynat Oh! Tote, Polène Ilo Bag, and JACQUEMUS Mini Chiquito, all of which caught my eye during my exploration.
