Hedi Slimane, Celine’s creative director, conceived the newly renovated flagship store in Miami’s Design District, which reopened during Art Basel Week. The store houses men’s and womenswear, maison collection, and fragrances.
The newly renovated, two-story flagship store in Miami’s Design District fully represents Slimane’s design aesthetic at Celine. Upon entering the space, you will be struck by its grandeur and sophistication, exuding a sense of refined elegance.
The first floor of the store is devoted entirely to the brand’s perfume collection, fine jewelry, women’s leather goods, and more. Adorned with antique gold details and accent lighting that highlights all the must-see areas, the fragrance display area is particularly eye-catching. In the middle of the space, a marble display area serves as a centerpiece with ornate glass panels emulating the top of Celine’s perfume bottles. In addition, coffered ceilings accent various parts of the boutique.
While the store itself exudes an artistic vibe, it also houses a vast collection of contemporary art, showcasing works from multiple artists.
To celebrate the grand reopening, the new Design District location offers a range of Miami exclusives for purchase. This includes two studded Triomphe Flap Bags, exclusively available at MDD, and a blush purple version of the Triomphe Panier basket bag, a US exclusive to MDD.
