The Saks Fifth Avenue Light Show is an iconic part of the holiday season in New York, drawing millions of visitors each year to marvel at the dazzling displays. This year, Saks is partnering with the House of Dior to present the “Carousel of Dreams” – a celebration of Dior’s deep connection to New York City, dating back over 70 years.
The collaboration pays homage to Mr. Christian Dior’s fascination with New York, a city that inspired him endlessly and led to great success with American women embracing his contemporary spirit. This enduring bond is now brought to life through the Carousel of Dreams, lighting up the historic facade of Saks Fifth Avenue with a stunning display featuring symbols of the Zodiac, stars, and clovers – all key to the House of Dior’s heritage.
The light show, which was unveiled during a star-studded event, will be on display nightly from 4:35pm to 10:35pm until January 5, 2024. In addition to the light show, the holiday window displays at Saks Fifth Avenue will feature moments from the history of Dior, paying tribute to the House’s incredible craftsmanship and heritage.
To further mark this special partnership, Saks will offer a collection of exclusive Dior creations, including fan favorites and new House classics like the Book Tote and the Saddle Bag adorned with toile de Jouy patterns and gold butterflies, along with a New York inscription. These items will be available at Dior’s permanent boutiques within the Saks Fifth Avenue New York flagship and online at the World of Dior digital pop-up store.
